Ryzsard Krynski Biography 2013
The origins of Richard Kryński’s artistic path were of an unusual nature. He was involved in the manufacture of glass products. He made his own designs, which taught him grinding accuracy and precision in drawing, and thus opened the way to his own compositions in painting. In his images he has developed a strong narrative, which features forms, destructions, objects and symbolic props. Krynski has become a figurative painter. He paints scenes of an erotic nature. He paints a portrait of women with strange head coverings. Images are filled with philosophical content. The theme is Kryński’s incapacity. And since little can be done, what remains is decorum - a fantastic costume and a vibrant stillness, and empty gestures. Sometimes there are animal paintings, of pigs or donkeys. His paintings cover a broad spectrum of visual and intellectual experience, and experience with a specific climate, which is characterized by the Krynski Ceni style of Rembrandt, Malczewski, Beksinski. He cultivates a grotesque figure, whose main theme is a duck. He has participated in many exhibitions in Europe, solo and group exhibitions, at European and World Art Fair charity auctions. For several years he has run a school of drawing and painting. He has reaped awards and distinctions, among others an Award of the Minister of Culture and Art. He lives and works in Poland, Carpathians - Krościenko Wyżne.
